SurfBouncer takes your privacy very seriously and our policy is simple: We will never sell, loan, or distribute any of your personal information such as your name, email or mailing address to another party. We use Amazon Payments, Google Checkout and PayPal as payment methods. In using these payment methods, you are assured that we never have access to your credit card information.
When you log into the SurfBouncer Personal VPN, the only personal information we monitor is related to the establishment of the connection itself. We do this in order to be able to troubleshoot connection problems and keep the network running. We know that you have connected to the service but we do not know or record anything about the actual data you are transmitting. Your data comes in encrypted and, once the data is unencrypted in the server, it is sent directly out to it's destination without any logging or monitoring on our part--of any kind.
Surfbouncer is a security service which protects you from being personally exposed on the internet. Web site owners will not know who you are as they will receive our IP address and not yours. Your local ISP will have no idea where you are surfing to since all they can detect is an encrypted connection to our servers. It is also very effective in unblocking web sites in many countries.
However, SurfBouncer is not a service designed to facilitate illegal file sharing and we comply with DMCA copyright laws. The downloading of copyrighted material or any other illegal activity in violation of law is not permitted. We do not allow access to several known illegal file sharing sites. If our server addresses are identified by copyright holders as having downloaded illegal content, we will assist the copyright holders and/or law enforcement in determining the source based on applicable DMCA laws.
