(If you have problems downloading, try the alternate links at the bottom of the page.)

Windows XP

Windows Vista

Windows 7

Install:

Install the application (Windows). Run the downloaded file and accept all the default options. Windows will pop up a warning regarding the driver being installed. The driver is the standard open source Openvpn product used worldwide*. Since it is an open source driver, it is not certified by Microsoft. Accept the installation of the driver and the installation will complete. Some firewall software may also pop up asking you to confirm the new driver being able to access the internet. If this occurs, accept the connection.

Note: The installation of the TAP adapter can sometimes take up to a minute. Do not exit the installer while the TAP adapter is being processed.

For more details on XP, see the Windows XP installation screen shots here.

Important: Windows Vista install must be in administrator mode as described in Vista Setup.

We are setting up your information on our servers. You will receive an email within a few hours (or sooner) with your Surf Bouncer user name and password. Please be patient, many times it takes a few hours for the transaction to clear the credit card processor, especially for overseas orders. Also, due to constant attempts to use fraudulent credit cards to get on the VPN, we manually verify each order before allowing it to go through.

Note: Orders are processed between 6:00 AM to Midnight (6:00 and 24:00 hours) US Pacific time (GMT - 8). If you are ordering during the hours that our order processing department is closed, rest assured that your order will be processed first thing in the morning.

If you are using an automated spam protection system that requires verification be sure to add our domain (surfbouncer.com) to your white list. If you do not receive your user credentials within a few hours check your spam box in case it was erroneously put there. If it's not there send us an email and we will resend it.

* Our OpenVPN software downloads listed above contain the standard OpenVPN software and our configuration files that set up the software to work with our servers. They self extract into the proper directories and enable the service. You can also download the latest version of OpenVPN from their official web site and paste our configuration file available here in zip format.

For Windows Vista: Be sure that you install the software as described on the Vista setup page. This is extremely important. Then, to launch the application, right click on the 'openVPN GUI' icon and select 'run as administrator'. This will launch the icon into the system tray as described above. Proceed as described.

If you are in doubt that you have a proper connection, go to the connection checkout page and follow the instructions there to verify that you are on the VPN. Verifying this will ensure safe surfing and unblock web sites properly.
