Instruction for Android 4.0 and later
Select Settings
Click on word WiFi
Press and hold the active wireless network until dialog box opens
Pick Modify Network
Check the Show advanced options checkbox at the bottom
Switch IP settings“ to ”Static”
Do not change IP address, Gateway and Network prefix length
Set DNS 1 and DNS 2 to the addresses we provided you
Click Save
Power cycle the device
Note:
DNS changes only work on WiFi connections on Android devices unless the device has been rooted. Therefore these settings will not work on 3G or 4G type connections.
